Snow Day Calculator: check the odds that school will be cancelled tomorrow, based on the forecast. Free web app, see how the score is worked out.
Description
Snow Day Calculator answers the question every student and parent asks on a winter night: will school be cancelled tomorrow? Check your odds and get a snow day score, with a clear breakdown of how it was worked out.
How It Works
- Scores tomorrow’s weather using factors such as wind speed
- Shows exactly how each factor adds to the score
- Caps results at 99%, because weather and school boards are never 100% certain
- Lets you copy and share your result
It also explains how US school districts usually decide, and the best time of evening to check. The calculator is free and runs in your browser, with no signup.
